SheCanDoMore Conference

The Conference is an annual event designed for every woman to realize “She Can Do More” irrespective of her Background, Gender, Career and Industry. Sadly, most industry shaping our world today are practically male dominated (e.g. IT, Engineering, Aviation, Modern Farming etc.) while the active women in the system are rarely given a share of voice to do more or given the required structural opportunity to realize their innate potentials as they are often treated as second class citizens.

Girl–Child Educational Support

Ensuring we have more girls in school, SheCan Nigeria places emphasis on Education by providing essential learning materials, granting Scholarship Opportunities, Offering Supplementary Education such as Technical, Vocational and Computer trainings and also Providing Counselling to Adolescent girls on Sexual Health Education, Teenage Pregnancy Prevention Support.

In addition to the above, various Educational support programs have been implemented like the Back to school program, SheCan Pick up a child program, Jamb Screening and preparatory classes for individuals from less privileged background to aid their transition into tertiary institutions amongst many others.

SheCan Skill Acquisition Program

SheCan Nigeria organizes programs which includes Skill acquisition, vocational training in fashion, decoration, catering among other entrepreneurial skills to women including students, NYSC corps members and the general public. Key features of the vocational training are seminars, workshops, aerobics, exhibition and a presentation of grants to selected participants. Follow up on progress for start-up, marketing strategy, business registration and counselling support are also involved to enable the sustainability of empowerment programs.

SheCanCode Boot Camp

The SheCanCode boot camps are special trainings organized by SheCan Nigeria to train young Women and Girls in Computer Coding and basic ICT Skills. This program is designed to help girls navigate their career path in technology which is a male dominated industry, learn programming skills and pursue their career interest in ICT companies. It is designed to teach young girls programming skills to build their careers as computer programmers and tech entrepreneurs.

SheCan Charity Fair

This SheCan Nigeria CSR program is targeted at empowering women and girls in underserved and slum communities where we provide basic amenities needed for daily living such as clothes. Food, toiletries, etc. We also offer free Medical support in these communities.

SheCan Mentoring and Counselling

Knowing the importance of mentoring and counselling especially for girls and women, SheCan Nigeria offers both Online/Offline Counselling and Mentoring sessions in schools and communities. Other Mentoring workshops are targeted at Career and Business. Mentees are also matched with desired mentors.

SheCan Career Fair

We offer Career fairs to Youth Corps members, Graduates and Undergraduates to enable them develop their employability skills, and further equip & prepare them for the future ahead.

Trainings

SheCan Nigeria offers a number of different training workshops for members of the public and other stakeholders. Open workshops are delivered in various regions of the Country throughout the year characterized with tailor-made training sessions and covering a wide array of expertise. The importance of training in Self-development cannot be over-emphasized and over the years, trainings have been carried out on Marketing PR, Self-discipline, Social Media marketing, Job/development, Goal setting and Leadership Training which helps ensure that girls grow up to be model citizens, instill a sense of purpose and develops forward-thinking women.

SheCanPray4Nigeria

The SheCan Pray 4 Nigeria is a platform where all Nigerian citizens irrespective of tribe, gender, religion & culture come together to raise the Nigeria Flag and pray for the peace of the Nation.
